Since its foundation in summer 2013, the Joie GmbH has enjoyed rapid growth. In recent months, the German sales company has further increased the amount of its staff. This includes employees in the following departments: product management, field service and customer service. According to the company’s plans, the new building of the company headquarters in Frankenthal is underway. Nothing stands in the way of the relocation date in summer 2018.
Joie GmbH was founded in 2013 as a subsidiary of the Wonderland Nurserygoods Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of baby and children’s products based in Taiwan. The Mannheim-based company distributes baby products of the two brands Joie and Nuna in Germany and Austria and now has 36 employees.
“It is a great confirmation for us that the market receives our products so well”, says Oliver Mecky, Managing Director of Joie GmbH. At the same time, the expectations towards us are becoming more and more complex, and we are looking forward to meeting them with energetic and competent support.
Boris Weiler (34) and Stefan Paukner (29) strengthen the Joie team in the field. While Weiler will now incorporate his many years of experience into the field service of an IT company to the brand Joie in the South-West region, Paukner, who is transferring within the children’s outfitting sector, will support the field service as a merchandiser in Bavaria and Austria.
Yannic Böhm (25), a project engineer for several years in the consumer goods industry, will be primarily responsible for the classic product management of the strollers, highchairs, seesaws and portacribs. This is how the product management division is expanded by the technical product manager Christoph Maier.
Andrea Walter (48) will lead the Customer & After Sales Services division and take over the responsibilities from Edgar Schäfer, who will leave the company at his own request at the end of October. “I arrive with a view that is completely unfamiliar to the industry and look forward to design actively,” says Walter. My many years of management experience in the insurance industry provide a very good starting point for this. The areas of customer service and marketing have also been expanded by three more positions. Helene Blichmann (50) will strengthen the Human Resources department in the future. Blichmann, who spent 16 years as HR Manager of a medium-sized company in the consumer goods industry, will expand and manage Human Resources at Joie GmbH.
