On 29 July 2017, the German Brand Award was presented to the plastic and household products supplier. Last year, OKT introduced the consumer brand keeeper as part of a brand relaunch. Honoured with the award for outstanding brand management, keeeper is celebrating its success.

The German Brand Award goes to - keeeper. The specialist jury awarded the prize in the “Special Mention Interior & Living” category to the plastic and household products experts keeeper. The prestigious award is intended to promote the competitiveness of German companies.

“This recognition with the German Brand Award is a valuable signal for the keeeper brand. It points to the success of our rebranding process. In just a short time, we have been able to leave behind the sober OKT industry brand, and to position keeeper as a modern and emotional consumer brand,” said Mike Carlos Wolf, CEO of the keeeper Group.

Keeeper - “For everyone, for everything, for everywhere”

The newly conceived corporate identity is already reflected in the brand name: keeeper. Each “e” stands for one of the brand’s four promises: “everybody, everything, everywhere - enjoy living!” With its products, the company wants to create useful solutions for everyday life and an organised home. The company explains that the squirrel, which is integrated into the logo, represents storage. According to the company, this playful motif is equally popular with adults and children.

The goal was not simply to create a new brand name, but rather to create a consumer brand. For the customers, keeeper should represent a modern, attractive, and at the same time emotional brand. This includes facilitating a better quality of life and offering keeeper’s plastic products to support the consumer in the daily housework. The efficient accessories cannot get rid of the household chores, but they can considerably lighten the load, particularly because they can be used in so many ways.

Tidiness as a way of life

All the keeeper products are personalised with names. These increase the recognition value and create an emotional bond. Thus, around the house, “robert” takes care of the spaghetti junction of cables for men, while “lotta” clears up makeup chaos for women. In addition to numerous plastic products for the adults, the younger ones can also bring some order to their bedrooms, while having fun. For example, the rotating stacking box “anna” helps the little ones to clean up their bedroom. The different boxes have motifs such as the Ice Queen or Star Wars, and they offer storage space for dolls, cars, and much more.

“For such a large brand relaunch in such a short period of time, you need expertise, but also the smooth and effective cooperation of all the company’s departments – every single employee has contributed with great enthusiasm,” says Mike Carlos Wolf, honouring the work of keeper’s more than 500 employees.
